It's actually as simple as removing the old rotary knob and the on/off switch. I used an old bank card to fit under the button and just worked my way around. There are 3 clips. Once removed, the button simply lifts off and there is a secondary ring that also detaches. To remove the power button, either pull (with some force) or put the card out again and let the three clips burst again. Not surprisingly, the old matt black plastic is easier to remove than the chrome-plated one. Good luck!
